Independence Care, Inc has been in our community over 7 years. The owner, Marcia, has experience with the aging MRDD population, all levels of care; social adult day programs to nursing home placement, and Alzheimer’s Disease programs. This includes assessments of the memory impaired individual and referrals to community services allowing them to remain in their own home independently.

Independence Care's assistant, Joyce, is a retired nurse. Although we are not a medical model, and are not allowed to medically diagnose, we use Joyce's knowledge to let caregivers know of possible problems in the future that we may be able to prevent.

Our caregivers come from vast backgrounds. They have worked in aging facilities and have done private home care.

In our assessment we strive to place the right staff with each client according to the client’s needs and the staffs’ experience.
